Nearer and nearer...

haha...time flies..it is getting nearer to that day...HUH! take a deep breath...one,two,three..

Okay, just a short intro about my great examiner.According to my teacher,he was the artistic director of RAD Royal Academy of Dance) and he is a guy.LOL...that's not a big problem. But he is definitely very famous and is quite fussy about expression and musicality.

Found this in the net:

I have heard differing rumours about Jon Byrne...the most recent of which was that he was chastised by the RAD for marking too hard and failing 80% of one exam season in Brisbane...I tend to agree with the rumour as my brother who is fantastic did his Adv 1 under him and only got 59%. (and he's a boy!!!!!!!)
Sorry to say but you might have a hard time with John Byrne...nothing on the grapevine ab

I had also heard that John Byrne was a really hard marker. However a couple of years ago some girls from my studio had him for an examiner (I did my exam in a different session so didn't have him) and got really good marks. And these weren't phenominal dancers- they were good but not amazingly so.

john byrne is very picky.. he is fussy on allignment in the hips - like.. keeping your hips square ... that sorta stuff.

John was definitely a teacher at SCECGS (C not G :P) he taught classical ballet. Very fussy on alignment like was mentioned above, and all other technical aspects. I don't know susan, but perhaps they've paired up one technical focus examiner and one more of the artistic nature? Haha I have no idea.

SEE? really scary examiner.Although i have not failed bellet examxs before, but this is a major exam. Teachers say, many good dancers too have the chance to fail major exams, even though they will get distinction in grade exams. =/
Crap...damn nervous...how to study? OMG....pray to god...amitofo...but can i actually console myself that it is ok to fail my first major exam due to lack of experience? Such a stupid idea.Anyway, Good Luck to Yee Ying and Shi Yin who will go in on Monday. Hope you all get a distinction back!

Conclusion: I am having a nightmare tonight.
